Great place to go for a snack while you in town doing your shopping. The place lacks on atmosphere and customer service. If you work with the public you should learn how to smile, first impression remember.
Been going to Charlie's for over 15 years since I was a child and I've never had anything but great food and great service. Cheap, cheerful and fresh. The best round of toast you'll ever eat!

Had the most beautiful ham salad and latte at Charlie's. Service brill l but thought it most unusual when I asked for some mayo and was charged 20p. Never been in a restaurant or cafe where they charge you for mayo to go with your meal, unless it's Maccies. A Bit off putting
