Just had Christmas, New year and longer at Lamb Cottage, a beautifully kept campsite, immaculately clean toilet block, lovely pitches with landscaped surroundings. Anna and Alex the wardens are a rare find for the owners who take pride in keeping the campsite as it is. Nothing is too much trouble even when they are not in the office. Highly recommend this child free relaxing site.
Very well maintained site with spotless facilities. A great base to explore the area. The information area has detailed walks which start from an finish at the local pub (The Plough) which offers very nice food and beers.Only negative point is that the WiFi signal is very weak indeed on the pitch but we managed a pretty stable tv signal.We would definitely recommend a stay and we will be returning next year.

Love this site very clean and welcoming been before. Only thing this visit is that it wasn't as peaceful as they are extending the site.We would have probably gone at a different time had we known that work was being carried out. Can't fault the site itself we will be returning. Excellent walking as it's near the old disused railway
Superb adults only site. Hardstanding pitches with room for van, awning and car in front. Excellent wash block. Easy access from the M6. Pitches are fully serviced. TV signal not very good, but satellite access from most pitches. Lots to do in the area, peaceful site. Recommended.
