Chris was very diligent beforehand and was very quick to reply to any queries we had. All in all, 5 star service!
Things are very different if you have used them before. First of all to even get a quote for removal takes at least an hour of your time as they use this app where you have to book an appointment to conduct a video survey of your property. This entails downloading an app and then the surveyor obviously not being on time and several phone calls back and forth when they resurface to get the app to work. You then awkwardly open every single one of your cupboards and drawers in each room to create an inventory. This inventory is then screwed up and ignored totally when the removal takes place. They left a substantial amount of items that had been costed into the quote. I offered two dates with differing start times, so instead of saying sorry we cant start at that time on that day they ignored that too, agreed to the day where they could never do the time I wanted but didnt tell me and just turned up 4 hours earlier unannounced. So obviously off the back of this, the job takes longer than they thought, and then charge waiting time... for a job that they started early and must have been quicker than planned as they left a substantial amount of things behind. I ended up paying the totally unjustified waiting time because I cant be bothered to communicate with them anymore.If youre looking for someone who treats you like theyre doing you a favour by being there (but also want paying over the odds) this is exactly the removal firm youve been searching for.
The team were really professional and friendly from start to finish, got the job done on time for a smooth move. We booked the full packing service which was worth every penny! Sadly 2 things broken - a champagne glass and an oven dish - otherwise the review would have been 5*.
I would thoroughly recommend Cheshire County Removals. The team on the day (actually two days - one packing and one packing/moving) were fantastic - always polite and very hardworking. Their team leader in particular was excellent at organising them and keeping them going even at the end of a very long day! All our possessions arrived safely and were put in the correct rooms. They made sure we were happy before they left and beds and wardrobes were reassembled. An excellent service.
Very professional, from coming out to quote, to completing the job. Chris very kindly squeezed us in as our original move date was cancelled and we then had 4 days notice. We had 4 lads and 3 small vans which was more than adequate but meant they could move us which was a godsend. They arrived punctually and were all very courteous pleasant chaps.
