Attended a small party held on the top floor. Lovely cosy space with a small bar. Buffet food was fantastic. Good range of dishes, all beautifully cooked. Friendly staff too.

A really lovely tucked away restaurant. The views to the marina are also a bonus. The service was brilliant and the food was good quality and well priced.
What a find. The Boatyard is a place l have driven past many times but never stopped. However, have been at least 5 times over recent months. Delightful charming restaurant over two floors set in an old boathouse alongside the canal. So ideal for winter or sunny days dining. The family run business offer great food and attentive service so you wont be disappointed. Sunday Lunch is really nice as are all the treats on the menu. And anywhere that offer After Eight Mints with the Coffee gets my vote.
Excellent venue for a fantastic evening. Family run and it demonstrates a great atmosphere as soon as you walk through the door. The food is very good and at a great price. I can highly recommend the T Bone steak but advise to ask for it at the time of booking. The wine drinks are reasonable priced and a good range of Gins. You will not be disappointed at the Boat Yard a great restaurant.
