You don't mind the typical sales tactics these people (badly) apply. I teach people how to sell, so I always have fun in situations like this. What is not funny, however, is when they try to sell you a car that cannot even pass a simple MOT. When they also pretend they don't know how it ended up being for sale at their Arnold Clark branch, that's when you know you have to look elsewhere for a car to buy (or service). Multiple managerial failures cannot be a coincidence.

Just bought an Audi A1 from Arnold Clark Northwich branch. Great customer service. Last 3 cars bought from them. As I did spend quite a lot of money on a 68 plate, my only complaint was I would have expected some mats to have been included as a 'good will' gesture. Otherwise all good.

Dreadful service. Agreed car drop off at 8am for collection at 1pm. Surprise surprise., car was not ready. We had expressly stated that we had to have the car back at 1pm as we had an appointment to attend. This was agreed at the time of booking and confirmed at drop off. We never had a call from the service team to confirm the delay and had to chase ourselves. The service dept did not pick up the phone when we called and I had to request help from the switchboard. Girl I spoke to had the audacity to state that they never agreed to the 1pm deadline. This is the typical rubbish service I expect from Arnold Clark. If you value customer service do not use these people.
