Lovely when it's quiet first thing in morning. Gets a bit manic later on,especially at the weekend. But love going.
Marbury is a nice spot for a walk. There is a good selection of trees and there is a beautiful lake with wild birds and a few bird hides for watching them close up. There are also lots of squirrels in the trees. Plenty of parking available as well. Love the history of Marbury as well, its a shame that the old house is no longer there, but the swimming pool remains.
Wonderful place, stunning views, perfect for walks alone, with family and very dog friendly... so much to do and see.. today was just perfect and allowed me to take my dog around the park in the snow and along near the mere.. I love going here and will continue to do so as theres so much nature around and beautiful trees and seeing the ducks.. even got to see a coot which made me very happy.. and my dog wanted to make a snowman!
It's a very nice park big area of woods a large lake, there are toilets and a van selling food and drinks Car park is big but can get busy especially at weekends and it's pay and display at the machines put money in first the confirm by pressing green tick then enter your reg
Great place for a family day out, take plenty of bird food (not bread) they will love you for it. Dressed for a winter walk, with a picnic in hand there's nowhere better for a family stroll, we went in between Christmas & New Year it was busy but we still managed to find a parking space, ooh and parking is great value. Definitely head here if you need to blow them cobwebs away
