Lovely walk. I took my dog, this would be a lovely walk for children. Quite a lot of steep steps so not ideal if you have mobility issues.

Lovely place to walk the dog
This area has been massively improved over the last 17+ years that I have lived here. A lot of woodland housekeeping has gone on, the paths and boardwalks are now safe. I walk here several times a week and there are different things to see/hear every time.
This is a lovely area, with a great group of volunteers who clearly care about maintaining it. At peak times there can be one too many dog walkers in there and unfortunately the paths are quite narrow which can cause issues for dogs/dog owners passing. However, if you catch it at the right time, when you're the only one in there, you'll hear the woodpeckers in the trees and along the bottom see the swans and ducks enjoying some time on the canal.
