I've used Weaver Physio services on numerous occasions (Sports Massage). The staff are have always been very friendly and well experienced.
Almost two years after I visited, I have received an email asking to review this Physio. To be honest, I wasn't impressed with the treatment. My workplace at the time offered a discount - hence attending, and after months dealing with a shoulder injury that I knew needed ongoing physiotherapy, decided to go as I could not get appointments at my previous clinic. The issue was serious enough it was causing me frequent migraines and disturbed sleep.My physio, whilst kind enough, did not offer what I believe to be high quality service. He dismissed my injury as not needing further treatment, and instead offered me unhelpful exercises. My concern that this wouldn't be enough, and had been advised by other medical professionals that ongoing physiotherapy would be required to relieve the symptoms was ignored. Since then, I have been to an osteopath who was quickly able to assess my injury, and provide the ongoing treatment and support that I needed to not only relieve the pain, but also significantly decrease the number of migraines being caused as a result. There was never any follow up from my physiotherapist into my well-being; in all my other experiences at other clinics, there has been a call or text a few days after my initial treatment to make sure I'm doing well after treatment. It's the sign that your physio cares, and a shame that it is not employed by this clinic.Whilst the staff were friendly, in terms of their interactions with me whilst present in the clinic, I'd have to say that I was wholly disappointed and unsatisfied. Further, it seems rather telling that the only follow-up in almost two years has been an email where the owners are asking for positive reviews to promote their business. In fact, I would never have left a negative review, had it not been the fact that clearly the email has been sent out as a self-serving measure, without considering who it is being sent to. If you are going to ask for reviews, do so in a timely matter, and actually follow up with your patients to see how they are.
I have been to few Physios but Richard @ Weaver definitely goes the extra mile to make sure any issue is investigated, explained and fully treated. Great, well equipped treatment room. I have a lot of confidence in Richard, he's very experienced and also being a runner himself understands the practical and mental side of any rehabilitation.
Amazing. Genuinely friendly people who will go out of their way to help. First visit included full assessment and treatment of my injury along with an exercise plan to start me on my road to recovery. Follow up visit a couple of weeks later included a follow up consultation and a new set of exercises for the future. All exercises at both appointments were explained thoroughly and demonstrated before watching me perform the exercises to make sure I was executing them correctly.
