We held a funeral reception here. The staff were friendly and courteous at all times, the buffet was excellent and the room was pleasantly arranged.I would recommend this venue.
Really liked it here, the staff were friendly, found the prices reasonable and the decor was lovely. The menu is very pub menu but I like that! I had scampi, was s good sized portion, husband had the burger and he was as full as a badger by the end. The mezze platter sharing board was absolutely massive as well. Highly recommend!!
Great food and great service. You might have a bit of a wait at busy times but this is an opportunity to admire the very pleasant surroundings. Very helpful and fun waiting staff. Formal or informal occasions I dont think you could do better!

It's got a good selection of beers at reasonable prices. They arranged a good buffet after my Mum's funeral. In the summer it's nice to sit in the garden next to the duck pond. Staff are friendly which is good. They seem to have made some improvements to the decor recently. Obviously a lot of history to the place. I don't eat there so can't comment on the food.
